Your Rainforest Experience is a four-hour hike with a local Naturalist Guide. You’ll have time to track wildlife you spot on the way. Then continue hiking the ridges and creek beds of the refuge.

Your mere presence in the habitat that contains more life, in terms of biomass and biodiversity, than any other on the planet is overwhelming. You will first hike through secondary forest then primary forest and spend much of the morning in remote parts of Hacienda Barú.
This hike involves walking over hilly terrain and requires a certain level of physical fitness.
