Cataratas Diamante (Diamond Waterfalls), is located in a beautiful and unique region of Costa Rica, 40 mins inland from Dominical beach on the Pacific coast. This jewel of the jungle cascades down the face of the Tinamastes Ridge above a valley called Las Tumbas, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.
The Diamante River flows straight through the heart of this valley. Several kilometers below Diamante’s natural water source, midway down 1200 feet of cascading waterfalls, you will find the Cave or, as the locals call it, “La Casa de Piedra” (The House of Stone). This open-air cavern is set behind twin waterfalls and features a fully functional kitchen and comfortable sleeping area.
