Join on the beautiful Reventazon River on Costa Rica’s most classic one-day whitewater rafting trip! Enjoy 10 miles of crystal-clear water and exciting Class 2-3 rapids in the Florida section of the Reventazon that are fun for first-timers or those wanting a less intense rafting experience

The nice thing about the Reventazon River Rafting Trip is that you leave later than most other one-day rafting trips that have very early morning departures. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and you’ll pick you up at your hotel starting at 8:00 a.m. You’ll drive by private, comfortable bus through the impressive Braulio Carrillo National Park, past rainforest and waterfalls across the Continental Divide to the Caribbean side of the country. The professional, bilingual guide – who is also a rafting guide – will tell you fun and important facts about Costa Rica along the way.

At the rafting put-in on the banks of the Reventazon River, you’ll receive a paddling and safety orientation. Then, you’ll start rafting. The first rapid of the day will set the pace for more fun to come. Enjoy the beautiful river valley as you travel from thick forest down to wide open spaces with banana plantations. After you finish, your bus will pick you up and take you to the Rafting Operations Center for a delicious hot lunch, showers, optional drinks and a stop in the souvenir store before the return drive to San Jose. This one-day adventure is unforgettable!

Some recomendations:

Minimum age 10 y/o,
Rubber-soled shoes that can get wet (Tevas, tennis shoes, booties or similar), swimsuit, T-shirt and shorts of a quick-drying material, Long sleeve t-shirts, sunscreen lotion (SPF 15 or higher), bug Repellent, change of clothes, including shoes, for after your tour, towel for changing/showers after the trip, any prescription medications necessary during your tour.
