Nicaragua One Day Tour is a perfect complement tour for your vacation in Costa Rica where you can visit Costa Rica's neighbor country and enjoy its history and buildings.
This tour starts very early in the morning to avoid lines on the border. On the other side you will stop for a delicious breakfast near of Rivas city.
You will continue the way to Granada city, one of the first founded cities in America by Europeans, a colorful place, built on Spanish colonial architecture that nowadays still remains. At Granada you visit the most important monuments of the city on a horse-drawn carriage, like Spanish used to do it 200 years ago.
You will see the main church known as the “Cathedral”, “The Plaza de España” which is one of the best viewpoints for the magnificent Nicaragua Lake and many others; you take lunch on a nice restaurant with a historical view.
After lunch you drive towards to Masaya City, a very typical Nicaraguan Town and you visit the active Masaya Volcano and the National park, a natural attraction that you cannot miss on our trip; you finish the stay at Masaya with a visit to the local market when you will have the chance to see the local pottery and pick up a souvenir.
You get back to Costa Rica to drop you off at your hotel on the evening.
